- How is this different from cold DMs, Lunchclub, or Intro.co?
- Lunchclub randomizes. Intro.co is a booking marketplace where you pay to talk. We're neither. Evenpairs is a curated network — our team reads what you're building and hand-picks one operator per intro. No browsing, no sorting through profiles, no $499 paywall to start a conversation.
- Do mentors charge?
- The first conversation is always free. Some mentors offer paid follow-ups — that's their call, not a default. Most relationships either stay informal (one great call) or evolve into office hours or advisory. We don't take a cut of either.
- How often will I get matched?
- One or two introductions a month, when there's a real fit. We'd rather skip a month than send you a weak match. Quality is the whole point.
- What if the conversation doesn't click?
- Tell us. We recalibrate. There's no obligation to follow up, no rating to leave, no awkward thank-you note. The next intro will be better calibrated.
- Do I need to be a paying Evenpairs member?
- Yes — mentor matching is part of the broader Evenpairs membership. Apply for early access; founder pricing is locked at the founding rate for the first 1,000 members.
- Is this only for tech founders?
- No. We have operators across SaaS, marketplaces, consumer, healthcare, hospitality, and creative businesses. Tell us what you're building and we'll match the substance, not the sector.
