1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored in your browser that let a site recognise your device across pages and visits. We also use comparable storage like localStorage for the same purposes.
2. Categories we use
a. Strictly necessary
Required to operate the site. These do not require consent under EU/UK law.
evenpairs_consent_v1— stores your cookie preferences. Set in your browser's local storage. Retained for 12 months.- Authentication / session cookies — set by our backend (Lovable Cloud / Supabase) to keep you signed in. Session-based or up to 7 days.
- Stripe — set on Stripe's domains during checkout and identity verification to prevent fraud. Governed by Stripe's cookie policy.
- Google Maps — set when a map is rendered to deliver tiles. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
b. Analytics
Help us understand how members use the site so we can improve it. Off by default and only loaded after you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner. Aggregated and not used for advertising.
c. Marketing
Evenpairs does not currently set marketing or advertising cookies and does not sell or share data for cross-context behavioural advertising.
3. Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional service. All non-essential cookies are set only with your prior consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Managing your preferences
You can change your choices at any time by reopening the on-site preferences banner, or by clearing cookies and site data in your browser.
5. Changes
We may update this policy as we add or remove tools. Material changes will be communicated in-product.
