How does verification work?+
We verify a government-issued ID matched to a live selfie, plus a professional background check. Most members are verified within 48 hours.
How much does membership cost?+
Founding membership is $299/year, locked for life for early members. You only pay after your application is reviewed and approved — applying is free and requires no card.
Can I be on Evenpairs for friendship only?+
Yes. You can choose Dating, Friendship, or Both at any time.
Is there an algorithm?+
We use curated, human-reviewed introductions supported by a values-and-lifestyle-aware matching system. We never rank you on attractiveness.
How is Evenpairs different from a dating app?+
We are not a dating app. There is no swiping, no infinite feed, and no ads. Members receive a small number of curated introductions per week and access to in-person experiences with other verified members.
How is Evenpairs different from Raya or The League?+
Raya is celebrity-and-creative focused with manual approval based on social influence. The League weighs career credentials. Evenpairs focuses on values, intent (dating, friendship, or both), and real-life experiences — with verification but without status-ranking.
Which cities do you serve?+
We launch in the San Francisco Bay Area. New York and Los Angeles open as the verified community grows in those geographies.
What if my application is declined?+
About 60% of applications are approved. If we cannot accept you today, we will tell you why and how to reapply when our community has grown.
How do I delete my account?+
From Profile → Delete Account. Your data is removed within 30 days.
