Data safety

Last updated: April 27, 2026

This page summarises how Evenpairs handles your data, in the same plain-language format Apple and Google ask for in their App Store and Play Store data-safety sections. The full Privacy Policy is the legally binding document.

Data we collect

  • Contact info: name, email address, phone number (optional).
  • Identifiers: account ID, device identifiers used for security.
  • User content: profile text, photos, conversation messages.
  • Verification data: government ID image and live selfie, processed by Stripe Identity for identity review only.
  • Approximate location: derived from IP address (not precise GPS).
  • Program data: referral, mentor, and partner application details when you choose to participate.
  • Diagnostics: crash logs and performance data to keep the app stable.

How we use it

  • Verifying your identity and operating your account.
  • Suggesting compatible introductions and mentor matches.
  • Sending transactional and account messages (you can opt out of non-essential email).
  • Investigating reports and enforcing our community guidelines.

What we share

  • Other members: only the profile information you have chosen to make visible.
  • Service providers: hosting (Lovable Cloud / Supabase), payments and identity verification (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), maps (Google). All bound by data-processing agreements.
  • Legal: when required to comply with valid legal process.
  • We never sell your data. We never share your government ID with other members.

How it is protected

  • Encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
  • Identity verification artifacts are deleted from our systems once the review is complete; production data is removed within 30 days of account deletion and backups roll off within 90 days.
  • Access to member data is limited to a small operations team and logged.
